This kind of item provides surpasses out prospect, that one has developed into a amazing buy for me personally, The idea arrived correctly as well as swiftly John Carter (Two-Disc Blu-ray/DVD Combo)

From Academy Award(R)-winning filmmaker Andrew Stanton (Best Animated Film, Wall-E, 2008) comes John Carter -- a sweeping action-adventure set on the mysterious and exotic planet of Barsoom (Mars). Based on Edgar Rice Burroughs's classic novel, John Carter is a war-weary, former military captain who's inexplicably transported to Mars and reluctantly becomes embroiled in an epic conflict. It's a world on the brink of collapse, and Carter rediscovers his humanity when he realizes the survival of Barsoom and its people rests in his hands. Stunning special effects, great characters and villains -- and complete with extraordinary bonus features -- John Carter is a heroic and inspirational adventure that will thrill you beyond imagination.
Disney's megabudget foray into a new CGI franchise of epic sci-fi mythology arrives with a massive marketing push and an interesting pulp pedigree that will probably inspire as many fans as it will naysayers. This impressively crafted piece of escapist fantasy is based on a character and series of books by Edgar Rice Burroughs that is runner-up to his primary creation, Tarzan, and the 20-plus volumes he wrote about that iconic ape-raised jungle adventurer. Burroughs churned out books in both series concurrently for roughly his entire adult life in the first half of the 20th century. John Carter is a former Confederate Civil War captain and fortune-hunting ne'er-do-well who through a weird incident of astral projection is plopped down on the red planet, where he becomes a passionate warrior against beasts and humanoids for the security of a home world known to its inhabitants as Barsoom. John Carter presents this origin setup in a clever prologue that finds the cranky Carter on the run from frontier military authorities as well as a band of marauding Indians. Carter is played by Friday Night Lights star Taylor Kitsch with great bravado. His character undergoes radical change when confronted with something he can finally care about. It doesn't hurt that an exotic princess of Mars is part of the prize package that comes from his battle against evil and ultimately doing the right thing. John Carter is a visual feast (especially in well-conceived 3-D) with an array of digital and motion-capture techniques that create an eye-popping world of strange creatures, astounding architectural vistas, aerial panoramas, and luminous landscapes. All the extraordinary detail is not surprising considering that Pixar superstar Andrew Stanton is at the helm (he also directed Finding Nemo and WALL-E). There's a lot going on in the script, and it sometimes feels as though too much work was done in the editing suite to streamline a story that is often overly complicated. Barsoom is ruled by three species, all with their own political and social agendas. There are the humans whose city-state cultures are threatened by civil war and the aggression of Tharks, a race of giant green-skinned, four-armed warriors with horrific tusks and a deeply bellicose intellect. Separate from both are the mythic Therns, a cultlike sect of über-beings who seek to manipulate all of Barsoom into their own submission. Added to the mix are a variety of outrageous animal creatures both vicious and sublime that make for an extremely motley ensemble of beasties. The huge cast of characters, species, and names becomes a bit confusing to keep straight in all the rapid-fire exposition. Fortunately the movie doesn't ever stop long enough to allow much time for thinking; there's something new and exciting to look at in virtually every scene. Because of some fantastical leaps of physics and gravity, Carter's Martian body possesses super strength and the ability to make single bounds over huge distances. His powers not only make him a godlike presence to the natives of Barsoom, they also provide for some dizzying feats of movie magic. The most bravura element of the conceptual design is a fleet of massive solar-powered flying machines that recall something out of H.G. Wells or a steampunk fantasy. These colorful, insectlike machines soar and float in the gold-hued Martian atmosphere with thrilling precision. Even though the multitude of beings, names, and alliances may sometimes elicit a glassy-eyed response, there's plenty of attention-grabbing exactitude to behold in John Carter. There's also a good chance that the fans will make it worth Disney's while to shell out another hundred million to keep the saga going. --Ted Fry

This unique item Offer surpasses own prospect, this place has turned into a fantastic upgrade on myself, The thought came securely and quickly The Dukes of Hazzard: Season 4

Dukes of Hazzard: The Complete Fourth Season (DVD)

The daring Dukes are back and tearing up Hazzard County in the fourth season of this action-adventure series. Stealing money from an orphanage, hypnotism, poker … no scheme seems too outlandish to Boss Hogg (Sorrell Booke) when it comes to trying to keep down Bo (John Schneider) and Luke Duke (Tom Wopat). But knowing those good ol' boys and their good ol' family, they'll come out on top - or at least sliding across the top of their trademark car, the General Lee. Guest stars this season include singer Buck Owens, Steven Williams (21 Jump Street) and Jonathan Frakes (Star Trek: The Next Generation), as Boss Hogg's rich nephew who has eyes for Daisy (Catherine Bach).

]]>The Dukes of Hazzard: The Complete Fourth Season finds the redneck comedy down to a fine science almost comforting in its predictability. Cousins Bo (John Schneider) and Luke (Tom Wopat) still raise hell with the General Lee in rural Hazzard County (and still have no visible means of financial support). Daisy Duke (Catherine Bach) is still the picture of wildflower innocence despite her tomboyish temper and barely legal short-shorts. Uncle Jesse Duke (Denver Pyle) still basks in righteous anger at longtime enemy (and fellow former moonshiner) Jefferson Davis "Boss" Hogg (Sorrell Booke), the latter an unrepentant schemer for whom every living thing seems an obstacle in his quest for vast (and unethically acquired) wealth. As sure as the sun rises every day, any scene involving Boss Hogg and the idiotic Sheriff Roscoe P. Coltrane (James Best) will be played for maximum slapstick-cartoonish energy, all the better if dimwitted Deputy Cletus (Rick Hurst) becomes entangled in their shtick.

Season highlights include "Mrs. Daisy Hogg," with guest star Jonathan Frakes--destined to play Commander William T. Riker on Star Trek: The Next Generation (please note that Dukes' executive producer is one Paul R. Picard)--as a counterfeiter who falls for, and thus endangers, poor Daisy. "Double Dukes" finds Boss Hogg hiring two thugs to disguise themselves as Bo and Luke, but the real fun with this episode is a recent commentary track (optionally chosen via special features) with Wopat, Schneider, and Bach kidding around and reminiscing like naughty siblings. "Diamonds in the Rough," directed by James Best, concerns out-of-town gangsters searching for stolen diamonds stuffed in a Bugs Bunny toy that made its way from the Dukes' hands to Boss Hogg's Cadillac to Roscoe's hound. "Ten Million Dollar Sheriff" is a two-parter in which Roscoe inherits a load of money, and--for a time--becomes a kingpin even more dangerous than Boss Hogg. Comedian Jeff Altman makes a comeback as master-of-disguise villain Hughie Hogg, who implements grand plans to eliminate the Dukes and salt-of-the-earth tow truck driver Cooter Davenport (Ben Jones). Sprinkled throughout the season are musical performances by Buck Owens, Mickey Gilley, and other country artists. --Tom Keogh

The Dukes of Hazzard - The Complete Fourth Season
First, to all who write this, I am a HUGE Dukes fan. I have loved the show for so long. Now that the show has come out on DVD, I am very happy. As of this writing, I am roughly half way through the 4th season. To me, this seems to be the best season out of all 7. After this season, John Schnedier and Tom wopat decided to leave the show(albeit temporarily). So this season was big for both men.

The episodes are incredibly clear to look at on your TV screen. I give credit to Warner Bros. for the impeccable quality. Another terrific feature is that there are 9 separate discs. No more double DVD discs.

But the best feature is the show itself. The humor is good in places, and very good in others. It is a comedy and should be looked at it as such. Some people were offended by the Rebel flag on the General Lee. To me, this gave the car an identity that makes it stand out from the other characters. Other reviews have mentioned that this is one of the last shows to sit...
DUKES season sets keep on coming!
It is with great thanks to Warner Brothers, who has released three season sets of the DUKES OF HAZZARD in one year (2005) alone, for providing the fans with these DVDs at such a rapid pace. It is with great hope that Seasons 5 - 7 are released just as quickly, along with the reunion movies, the "Enos" series and the "Dukes of Hazzard" cartoon series.

Season 4, as with all the DUKES releases, are of the utmost quality...clear picture, great sound and awesome packaging! I truly believe that the DUKES sets are the best packaged TV on DVD sets that I own. There are 9 single-sided discs here, each with a picture of a cast member or the General Lee on them!

The extra features are great...I was laughing along with John Schneider, Tom Wopat and Catherine Bach during their commentary for the episode "Double Dukes." Great stuff! The featurette is nicely done as well, with more interviews of the cast and series creator Gy Waldron. But man, Tom Wopat wasn't too friendly...

Review :
A cultured, sleazy revenge flick
Nine Things About the Movie "John Wick" (USA, 2014)

1. This is probably the best action movie of 2014. It's certainly the movie with the highest body count of 2014.

2. It's directed by two guys who, before they made this movie together, were mostly stunt coordinators and stunt doubles for people like Brad Pitt, Jean-Claude Van Damme, and Keanu Reeves.

3. Speaking of Keanu Reeves, he's great in this. You see, there is a very specific type of movie in which Keanu excels - action flicks where he moves around a lot and hardly talks. This had to be his dream role.

4. Reeves plays John Wick, a depressed nobody dealing with the loss of his wife. When a few things go wrong, we find out that John isn't exactly a nobody. In fact, he has quite a reputation as an assassin for the Russian mafia.

5. What's fascinating about this film is that this is no street-level gang war stuff. These are all super rich, civilized professionals that move in...
Revenge.....
This movie was OUTSTANDING! Although the very beginning was emotionally draining, it was an awesome movie. So well done...so well choreographed that Keanu Reeves' fighting scenes flowed like artwork. If you saw the promo, you already know that John Wick is/was a real tough guy. (He actually gave up the hard life and settled down.) When his wife died, he was devistated, until a package was delivered. She had ordered him a puppy to ease his pain after she passed on. Shortly after, some bad guys from a Russian mob broke into his place, beat the heck out of him, and killed the dog. Again, all this was in the promo, and in the very beginning of the movie.

To say he was upset, would be a severe understantement. Of course, he goes after these guys bent on revenge. It is a very intense and very violent movie, but DARN it was good! My son saw a special, explaining that Keanu learned his moves for "The Matrix". Keanu was in his prime. I definitely plan on buying...
A Great Movie and "yeah, I'm thinking that Keanue Reeves is back."
This was an awesome non-stop, action packed movie from beginning to end. One of the more memorable lines says it all, "John Wick is the guy you send to take out the boogeyman." It is very clear that John Wick does not take any sh#%. Also, I couldn't help but notice a number of cast members from some of the HBO Original Series (i.e. The Wire and Oz) such as Lance Reddick, Clarke Peters, and Dean Winters. Saving the best for last, Keanue Reeves was awesome as John Wick. I was already impressed with his role in "47 Ronin." However, Keanue Reeves gave such a great performance as John Wick that I am already looking forward to a sequel and possibly a prequel (i.e. life before wife). This was such a great movie that "yeah, I'm thinking that Keanue Reeves is back."
